We want everyone to be able to learn about Mallakhamb and request a trial class, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet completed an independent audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have done
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks for screen reader navigation.
- Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- A skip link to jump straight to the main content.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Form fields with visible labels and error messages that explain how to fix the problem.
- Animation and parallax effects that switch off when your device is set to reduce motion.
Known limitations
Some decorative lettering, including faint Devanagari script in the background, is intentionally low in contrast. It carries no information and is hidden from screen readers.
